The truth about the “Fair Share”

Look at this:

Does a rich man use more government than a “Poor” man(or woman)?

How much is a fair share? How much after that is just getting screwed?

  1. i’ve always thought it unfair that single and childless folks pay more taxes than the ones with children, since schools are a major draw on the budget. likewise, renters and leasers pay less/no property tax either. they use way more resources yet people like me struggle every year to pay for it. people that worked hard, built a nice house, paid for vehicles and a few toys and now in retirement struggle to pay the ever increasing tax to keep it all. i shouldn’t have to sell my stuff and move into a shoe box to afford the taxes.

    • Renters and leasers absolutely pay property taxes. And proportionaly usually more property tax cost vs owning. You think the landlord doesn’t cover his property tax cost plus a handling fee as part of the rent?
