Access to the White house and the President is a privilege, not a right.
And if you claim “Freedom of the Press” then you show that you haven’t bothered to lean the Constitution, and thus demonstrate your ignorance.
If anyone can demand access then there’s gonna be flood of us.

There are some citizen-based ‘news’ organizations out there that will provide you with credentials and ‘official’ looking badges and stuff. It’s actually a decent idea, IMO. Survivalblog has one. The idea is, print them out and get a copy on your person. If you’re ever in an area or event where police demand you leave, whip out your press badge, and start filming with your phone.
