(But somehow, asking you to not enter if you “Stink of weed” is racist…..)
Golden Nest Pancake & Cafe in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, recently erected a sign stating: ‘Please do not enter if you smell of marijuana. Gold Nest Pancake & Cafe is a family\restaurant, and this is unappealing while guests are dining. Thank you.’
I hate the smell. It’s worse that cigarette smoke (and I used to smoke). It is pervasive and modern weed is pretty rank.
I dislike going to Michigan and Illinois because of the stink. It’s everywhere, anywhere that pot is legal.
I think that the diner has made a good choice. If I lived there, they’d get my business.
I find it funny how the thought that banning folks that “Stink of weed” is somehow racist though. Most of the people I encounter in Illinois and Michigan who “:Stink of weed:” are pretty melanin-deprived. I don’t find that black neighborhoods smell any more like weed that white ones. Apparently, though, all of the complaints about the sign and the policy were made by,..,.,.,.,black people.
It’s horrible. I work in a medical office. My CMA told me people who smoke it don’t know they stink.
P.S. Most are black.
Come to Colorado where weed is legal and smell the stink. The most amazing is how many times you can smell it while driving coming from cars in front of you.
I hate driving down the street and getting assaulted by that smell.
Agree! If I were them, I’d stick by it.
They parking lot for Walmart on 96th street in Indy reeks of pot when you climb from your car. A whole generation is getting wasted. And weed is not even legal in Indiana.
