We are broke. We cannot sustain this level of spending. Even if their jobs produce anything of value, we cannot afford them. This has to happen. The longer we wait the more painful the layoffs will be. Best to go ugly early.
The only change I see with this shutdown vs. all the earlier ones is the Democrats are not on TV all day hollerin that the effin sky is fallin and people are dyin.
What has changed?
Because everyone knows it’s the Dems fault so if they yell that people are dying, it’s because of their actions. Before they were successful on blaming the Republicans–the game has changed.
