The the left (not the “Radical Left”, they all seem to have gone past slightly left— straight to Radical) thinks that Charlie Kirk was killed AND IT IS ACCEPTABLE because he (and the rest of us) really are waiting to reimpose the white heteronormative supremacy at the point of our assault rifles under the direction of the Great Orange Hitler.
(which, while it wouldn’t be a Bad Thing, isn’t (generally) what the RIght wants…..
They would just as likely kill you as Mr Kirk, simply because they fear that their wants will not be fulfilled, stymied by people like us, that want the culture to return to some level of “Normal”…..or at least stop going ever so farther from the “center”.

They fail to realize that it isn’t you and me that are radical, that we aren’t the ones shifting far from the nom….that it is they who have moved so far from “normal”….but that matters not….at least not to most people on the Left.
They believe that it is you, and me, and others like us that are the problem, and worse, that we are less than they, and that it is OK to kill us just because we are an obstacle on their way to “fundamentally transforming America” into their vision…..THey ahve taken off the mask, and we have donned the glasses…….
Their fundamental flaw is their failure to realize that it is people like you and me that are keeping the lights on and society functioning. And they fail to realize that should we treat them, see them, in the same light as they see us they would cease to exist in short order.

I thought hard before commenting on this, but my recent experience with a far leftist lesbian person who I thought was a friend is the perfect example of what you wrote. I did nothing in word or deed that merited the amount of hate spewed in my direction because I voted Republican (and this two hours after I dropped everything and went to help her when she ran out of gas). And it was rambling–Roe v Wade (dunno why that affects a lesbian), how she was waiting to be tied to a fencepost like Matthew Sheppard, etc. Interspersed with how gays love everyone (irony). And like Matthew said, how does someone like her come back from that kind of visceral hate and fear? It was sheer madness and unfortunately is common in that community.
