Apparently there will be some sort of “Department of Government Efficiency”
Here’s my offer to President Trump. Elon, and Vivek:
I will work for free, Seriously, Free for the first year. All I ask is my expenses. And they will be low. Let me help find waste, and decide what to cut, and how. I promise to do a decent job, judging only on the parameters you set up….I won’t be partisan. I’ve run a business or two. Managed others. Worked with military contracts. I understand how to cut waste and find efficiencies…..I don’t need a salary. Free for the first year.
We can discuss things after that. But the first year, I need no salary. Maybe pay me a dollar a year or whatever so I can be considered an employee for liability but nothing more than that. I just wanna help fix the behemoth that our government has become.
Someone let the incoming President and or Mr Musk know about my offer, please.

The problem that Musk is going to face in cutting the fat is that we all see the fat cap, and realize it can be cut. But we’re dealing with wagyu level.of fat intertwined with the beef. Every productive worker is surrounded by 3 to 4 non productive workers.
Having worked around government employees for over 30 years, I’ve concluded that 40 to 50 percent are there because they wouldn’t survive in the commercial space. 35 to 45 percent are competent, but are afraid of the commercial environment. About 15% are true believers that are there for the power trip. My uncle was one of those.
