Once, on a bet, I proved to a friend that I could hit a helmet (military surplus, and yes, I spray painted it powder blue for fun) at 500 yards….I did it 8 out of 10 times. (once my flinch and once a gust of wind, I think). I believe I can turn in a similar performance today…
Lots of folks can shoot better than I can…..and have better rifles too.
I don't think there is any spot in my entire AO that has a 500 yard line of sight anyway 🙂
