Not only are the Feds stockpiling supplies in military bases for at least 90 days (which I would have thought they were already doing) and now they are testing the Emergency Broadcast System and (yet again) urging people to have 90 days worth of supplies, I’m thinking that they know something…
Who knows, but I doubt that they would bother unless the thought something was likely. They’ve let the Emergency Broadcast System fall to ruin over the last 20 or so years… Why try to fix it up now?
(and I find it telling that they have a backup test date already planned if the system test fails the first time….Now that is confidence inspring)
I actually hear the EBS test announcements pretty regular…? But then again, I listen to the local listener-supported bluegrass channel, so… it’s non-commercial (I think they have to do shit like that to keep their broadcasting license).
