This continued drawdown of the SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserve) isn’t good. It weakens out country.

The drawdown isn’t making a dent in the price of oil, (Or at the pump, which is  different issue).

It is making our ability to make war less and less, at little gain anywhere else.

Selling oil earmarked for times of limited supply (like war) isn’t what the reserve was designed for…selling it on the open market where it helps other countries doesn’t help the US….it isn’t like any of them are helping with the issue in Iran either.  None of them are actually “allies”.  The US needs to look out for the US first, not the rest of the world.

I don’t know who is advising the President, but they aren’t giving him good advice here.
