Libs are sure this is going to be the issue that ‘gets Trump’. It’s not going to go away. People are still posting ‘Epstein didn’t kill himself’ memes (myself included). When something has that staying power, it can’t be swept under a rug.
It doesn’t have to “get Trump” though. He has absolute control over this; there’s no court trying to hold him back and he if doesn’t like what Bondi is saying he can absolutely fire her. It’s also not like the Signal debacle where it’s already gone and done. So why won’t he go in there and get to the bottom of things? Even if it’s been hidden, showing that he cares enough to go looking is a heckuva good start.
Bottom line: there are plenty of heads that should roll for this, but when all is said and done the outcome of this will largely be Trump’s decision. So what will it be, Mr. President?
