Would you like the surgeon that puts you back together after a car accident to be selected because they were the best there is or because they had the correct color of skin and the correct pronouns?
Would you prefer that the standards for your doctor passing medical school were lowered because she was a woman or because she was black?

I want the crusty old surgeon who’s done hundreds of them.
Having been in healthcare for decades I can tell you with absolute certainty that the quality of physicians coming out of medical schools has plummeted. The admission standards have been deliberately lowered and the standards to pass also dropped. Few physicians these days are doctors who practice medicine. Most are merely proctors who oversee testing. If the tests they order don’t answer the question of what’s wrong the patient is simply SOL.
