This indeed DID happen in California, and I’ve been waving my red lantern at the rest of the country since then. Reagan’s “one-time” amnesty GUTTED California! The Mexicans were fast-tracked to citizenship. They took over EVERY blue collar industry. Of course, they voted for the people who gave them the “free stuff.” There is NO balance of power here anymore. Sacramento is spending money our GREAT GRANDCHILDREN haven’t made yet. The only thing that will fix this is when the Democrat “supermajority” runs out of everyone else’s money. Of course, everything will collapse here before any semblance of balance is restored. Why am I still here? For the very reason you stated. The Democrats are trying to turn the WHOLE COUNTRY into California. What the hell’s the use in moving when all I’ll end up with is a version of California with humidity, freezing cold, tornadoes, and mosquitoes… and people who hate people from California? If my fate is to live my last years in a Stalinist nightmare, at least the weather will be good and the growing season will be long…
Folks, if you think what happened to California can’t happen where you live, be advised… it’s already happening…
There will still be elections. The commies are always good about holding regular election…that they control. The USSR always had them. Russia has them, Cuba has them. And we will continue having them. It will be a tightly controlled formality but they will happen.
