The Waco siege of the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas is still ongoing.

It has now been 31 days since the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms chose to drive up to the front door with a buch of “agents” and start shooting at the front door. When they couldn’t handle the response, they backed off and called for other agencies for help.

At that point, the FBI took over, and thus began the siege of the compound.

2 thoughts for today:

Could you hold out for 30 days?

Is your church Approved by the government, especially the ATF?

  1. depends on how soon they cut power. food, indefinitely. water, couple weeks. no church, but my religion is not approved and soon won’t be tolerated. but as with the davidians, they’ll know they’ve been in a fight.

  2. Yep, that was a cluster of the highest order… What they didn’t expect was to be forcibly repelled.

  3. I recall at least a couple of your previous posts that provided advice (good advice) to people of color when dealing with law enforcement. Cooperate. Don’t resist. Don’t run.

I suppose things would have been at least a little different if the Branch Davidians would have heeded your advice.

    • think that’s what the jews tried in 1939. didn’t work then either.

      • True. But the ending was written once the siege began. Once the world was watching, it could ahve ended in a less bad manner.
As I said, before, not exactly a parallel either.
