I was almost a year old at the time. Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Nanking in the Pacific and Normandy, the Bulge and Malmedy
tend to stick with one, growing up with our returning veterans.
To me, they will always be the Greatest Generation. A 'Day of Infamy'
followed by years of infamy.
