  1. I seem to remember an old supreme court case in which political promises were ranked far enough below anything remotely resembling a contract as to be uniformly considered to be unenforceable.

  2. Congress will pass a bill, a bi-partisan bill, to protect their own from being held accountable for campaign promises 1.4 minutes after this goes to trial. Which it won't

    Too bad.

  3. Campaign promises are worth the paper their written on. The adage, actions speak louder than words comes to mind.
