Sadness

The time is coming, soon, when I too shall have to help an old loyal companion to the Bridge.

I fear very little, but I fear that day with all my being.

I hope and pray I will have the same courage when it is my task.

    It's hard to do, but denying them the rest and dignity that they deserve, while easier, is a poor reward for all the years of loyal companionship that they give us.
